A series of experiments initially using the resonant frequencies of the piano to add overtones to an individual note or bichord, in the manner of Lucier's I am Sitting in a Room, but quickly departing from this phenomenological purity in search of a more expressive approach to the process. The recording here is For Piano & Tape #2, which combines this tape delay system with feedbacked pickups and prepared speaker cones which mechanically transmit the playback signal from the tape back to the two original notes.
