Hysteresis

Two pieces recorded using the SSCD_6.2 for a cassette release on American tape label, Gifts Nobody Wants. Both sides use only the machine itself, microphones and one or two hollow objects. Acoustmatic music sourced from playback and recording media. Or to put it another way: field recordings of the gear and process, rather than the field. Side A uses one piezo disc, two dynamic microphones and two glass vases. Side B use one large metal extraction tube one dynamic mic and one piezo disc.
