11/08: I've
just arrived in Hannover to install Air
Guitar at Kunsthalle
Faust. And I guess that'll be it for
this year - plenty of stuff in the works for the spring...
10/08: I am giving a brief talk about the trespassing
project at Cafe Oto, Dalston on the 26th as part of Salon
de Refuses Olympic. There is a review of my recent piano performance Vleugel here.
10/08: Just
returned from a disastrous excursion to the Mediations
Biennale in Poland: NEVER USE DHL.
I now start work on a new collaboration with choreographer Marina
de Quay which will take us to Lisbon at the end of the month.
07/08: There's
a review of the last Human Separation gig here.
Last month I exhibited a sculptural work in a show called Cases
of Curiosity.
Going to Frankfurt next week: I will be performing a live
tape-delay piece at Atelier Rafi, and then again at London's Elevator
Gallery on August 1st.
05/08: I
have a track on an online compilation, released by the IHM forum.
It's virtual 2cd format and available here. Human
Separation will playing in Cornwall on June 6th as part
of Live
Art Falmouth.
04/08: Despite
improved security there are some new additions to the Olympic
Park slideshow, and I have started a
blog to document the project in words. At the end of the month
I will be performing with Bill
Leslie at the Arnolfini's I
am still your worst nightmare. Finally some my work has
been included in this season's Post
Journal.
03/08: Last
Tuesday I performed Half
a Pint of Piano Music with Ellen Kilsgaard. A task-based
improvisation for two glasses and two grand pianos.
02/08: Last
month I surprised myself by completing a new sound sculpture
in a week. Extended

11/07:
A new sound sculpture, Air
Guitar,
will, with a bit of luck, be installed in Dartington College
of Arts Gallery at the beginning of December.
10/07: Human
Separation have just returned from Diskurs
Festival and are playing in London at Magical
Thinking on the 19th. I will be performing my
electroacoustic piano piece Flugel as part
of the Lucier
festival in November.
09/07: There's a
bit of video here of
Human Separation live at Collision
Festival in Peckham.
More gigs next month... also I am partaking in a 24 hour noise event
which begins broadcast on SounDart on
23rd September.
08/07: Spain
was amazing, hear the piece here.
One of my photographs was selected for a one-night show at
Tate Britain: How
we may be.
07/07: Heading
off to Spain in a couple of days for the First
Annual Pyrenees Festival of Visual Art. I will be making a
field recording composition of my journey to and time in Anso.
06/07: I
have a track on a 2xCDr compilation from Anarchy
moon called
power/field, Air Con Quartet is
a live mix of four mics placed on and around the air conditioning
units behind a petrol station.
05/07: Lament
for the London Olympic Site a
field recording composition made for the
Radia network is now complete. It will be aired on Resonance
FM and a bunch of other international stations soon.
It can also be streamed from
radioswap.
05/07: I
will be performing on
my home-brew Infernal Drone Machine as
part of An
Evening of Original Interest at
the Seven Stars Hotel, Totnes, Wednesday 16/05.
04/07: Human Separation's east London gig, part of a group exhibition
at Mother studios in
Hackney Wick, is now postponed until October.
03/07: Human Separation's UK debut at the Arnolfini in
Bristol. Part of I am your worst nightmare platform.

A group show in Poznan, Poland at the Oko Ucho Galleria. The
show has three British and three Polish artists, all of whom
investigate the impact of contemporary technologies on life.
