I have recently started to pursue a more timbral approach to the feedback piano techniques I have been working with. Central to this is the addition of contact microphones, which are attached to each of the preparations, allowing me to colour the tone of each string with a very different timbre, but one which relates directly to its vibrations. Below is the first succesful piece recorded with this system.
