For 2 years I have been searching for ways to play the piano without my untrained hands betraying me. The current method employs established experimental strategies, preparations and feedback, to alter the instrument's timbral language. Pickups induce harmonic resonance - vibrating the strings and excirting the objects placed thereon. The music is a balance of choice and chance, where minute changes to the gain and frequency in the pickups produce an unpredictable sequence of sound events.
